PIB Insurance Brokers Halifax branch donates £3000 to local charity Invictus Wellbeing as it's nominated charity
Invictus Wellbeing works to support and improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in West Yorkshire.
PIB Insurance Brokers in Halifax chooses a different charity to support each year, and takes part in various activities to raise funds for an organisation chosen by the team. In 2023, the branch voted to support Invictus Wellbeing as its nominated charity.
Invictus Wellbeing works to support and improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in West Yorkshire.
Susanne Greenwood, Corporate Team Leader, commented: “PIB Insurance Brokers is part of a national group, however we are committed to supporting charities and local organisations in our local regions.”
Last year, the team at the Halifax branch took part in a number of fundraising activities, including bake offs, raffles, team fuddles, quiz nights, a golf day and was proud to sponsor and attend the organisation’s Summer Bash at Heath RUFC.
John Goodacre, Branch Director, said: “With mental health issues becoming increasingly prominent, we were proud to support a local organisation who makes a meaningful impact on lives in the local community. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this worthwhile cause.”
With an additional award from PIB’s Community Trust, the branch was proud to present the charity with a cheque for £3000 which will support the delivery of projects and services to children and young people in the region, to give them the support they want and need.
