The shortlist for the 2020 UK Broker Awards has been revealed, and we’re delighted that colleagues in our PIB Insurance Brokers business, as well as our PIB Group Learning & Development team are both up for awards!
This means a total of three impressive award nominations so far this year, as PIB Insurance Brokers has also been shortlisted at the British Insurance Awards for the category for Commercial Lines Broker of the Year – SME/Mid-Corporate, with the award ceremony being held in October.
The UK Broker Awards shortlist sees PIB Insurance Brokers appear in the Commercial Lines Broker of the Year category where the judges were looking for a broker that has excelled in the tough economic environment.
Anthony Heywood, Head of Marketing for our Retail Specialty division says, “We decided to enter these awards as we felt we had a strong story to tell given our strong performance over that past 12 months. We’re delighted that PIB Insurance Brokers is shortlisted for another award and along with our recent announcement that the PIB Insurance Brokers family will grow later this year, it promises to be an exciting Autumn.”
Success for our Learning & Development team
PIB Group is also shortlisted in the Training Award Category which recognises ‘investment in staff skills – both technical and “soft” – by a broker business’. This is fantastic news for our L&D colleagues who have developed a range of programmes, and regularly promote new learning opportunities that cater to a range of needs across the Group.
